DOP 41, Ballahs 32

DOP & Ballahs were highlighted in the final. In the first 10 minutes of the half, the game was all Ballahs and Christine Papi who scored 6 points. DOP mounted a comeback behind a 9-0 run with defensive play from Kelly Wardner and offensive contributions from Emily Borek and Christina Curry. The first half had plenty of missed opportunities and turnovers from both teams. DOP led 17-13 at the half.

Early in the 2nd half, the Ballahs, behind clutch shooting from Kristen Craig, built a 26-21 lead with 11 minutes left. Down the stretch in this half, the shooting well went a little dry for the Ballahs, while key baskets from Borek & Wardner and from teammates Christine LeBlanc & Abbey Patteson helped DOP stretch to a 39-29 lead with under 4 minutes to play. Time was too short for the Ballahs to mount a comeback. LeBlanc shut the Ballahs down for good with a clutch steal in the closing seconds and Borek & Curry added points down the stretch to help DOP pull out the 41-32 win.
