Championship Game Summary
Superstars 17, Pre-Gamers 16

This year's Women's Basketball final between Superstars and Pre-Gamers was a defensive battle that went down to the wire. Behind solid free-throw shooting and the strong play of Jessica Dominik, Pre-Gamers held an 8-6 lead at halftime. Of the Superstars first half points, four were scored by Brooke Perry. Superstars would need someone else to step up in the second half.

That's exactly what Lauren Paul did, scoring all six of her points in the second half to give the Superstars a 15-13 lead at the 2-minute mark. Back came the Pre-Gamers, who tied the game at 15 when Ann Porten picked a good time to score her first points of the game. Superstars' Jenn Mikkola scored her first points with 30 seconds left and Superstars led again by two. Pre-Gamers, looking to tie the score, got the chance when Kaitlin Clark was fouled with 12 seconds left. Clark made one of two free throws but Superstars was able to run out the clock to escape with a 17-16 victory.
