Championship Game Summary
Y-Hate 57, Legends 47

This year's men's championship featured last year's champion The Legends vs V-Hate. Both teams survived scares during their playoff run as V-Hate beat Leapin' Lizards by forfeit, were anything but kind to The Kind Buds 66-42, tapped out We Play Frisbee 69-45, up-ended Internationals 61-51, and barely beat No Use for a Name 64-61 in OT.

The Legends won their first game by forfeit over The Ill Kid Format, beat Bomb Squad 62-40, nipped Hickory 41-39, and beat Zoo 44-28 and Railsplitters 62-50. Early on it looked as if The legends would run over V-Hate, as they jumped to an early 14-6 lead behind DeShon Hardy's 3-pointers. V-Hate cut the lead to 25-22 at the half.

In the second half, the lead changed hands several times. In the end, Y-Hate's Mike James and Anthony Anderson were too much for The Legends to handle. James controlled the boards and Anderson took over the game down the stretch as V-Hate won 57-47. V-Hate was led by Anderson with 21 points, James with 12 points and 21 rebounds, and Alex Deipleche and Jamie Pryce each with 6 points.
