Jennifer Kiefer scored a game-high 30 points as Hoop Screams cap tured the Co-rec championship with a 49-31 victory over the Beach Hoochies. Kiefer, who controlled the game's tempo with her shooting and ball-handling skills, picked up the slack for absent star Kathryn Gleason. Hoop Screams, which finished the schedule undefeated, bolted out of the gate and never looked back en route to a 31-13 halftime lead.

Marissa Legare paced the way for the Beach Hoochies, making several key baskets throughout the contest. Justin Cardullo and Erica Jennejahn each chipped in with good offensive performances for the Beach Hoochies, who matched Hoop Screams point­for-point in the second half. Hoop Screams’ Christy Grady controlled the boards, pulling down several key rebounds to go along with 10 points, while Jim Strub netted 6 points.
