The second Men's Final held in the Curry Hicks Cage was a thrilling double overtime victory for For Free over a gallant Soul in the Hole squad. The first overtime period was pivotal as two key players, Tom Verdell and Chris Noel fouled out of the game. The period ended with the score tied at 40-40. Soul's lack of depth was exploited as Free's full-court pressure defense and tough inside game led to a 10-0 run, Dwayne Early and Rhymer each scored 15 points in the 51-43 victory. Harris was the high scorer for Soul with 11 points. Soul's Errole Lynch had a game high 8 rebounds. For Free added the coveted Men's Title to their Holiday Tournament title.
