Tips of the Week
Make sure you are fueled up before your workout. Carbohydrates are the preferred fuel for exercise, so 30 to 60 minutes before working out eat something that is both carbohydrate-rich and digested easily. Great pre-workout snacks include low-fat yogurt, a banana, a slice of whole grain toast with fruit preserves, or a small bowl of oatmeal with sliced strawberries.
