Our personal fitness program provides members -- students, faculty/staff, F/S retirees, alumni & associates -- the opportunity to train under the supervision of certified trainers. Personal fitness programs benefit patrons, as well as provide opportunities for trainers to gain valuable, practical experience.
Personal trainers are approved by the Assistant Director for Fitness/Wellness and are certified through a nationally accredited fitness organization, such as ACE (American Council on Education), ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine), NSCA (National Strength and Conditioning Association), AFAA (American Fitness Association of America), IFPA (International Fitness Professionals Association, or are scheduled to be certified within the semester.
Personal training opportunities include fitness assessments and personal training packages/sessions. Personal fitness programs are fee-based and not part of the basic membership. Personal training packages/sessions are payable (cash or check only) at Member Services.
