Recreation Facility Memberships

All fees are payable at the Campus Recreation office in 215 Boyden Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm. Must show UCard when purchasing membership. Payment by cash or check only (no credit/debit cards or UCards). All sales final -- No refunds! Proper ID - UCard or guest pass - is required for entry to all recreation facilities.

Facilities are primarily for the use of students, faculty & staff. Limited use is permitted by associate members (spouse/domestic partner/dependent) and guests. Each participant must have recreation membership and present his/her UCard or guest pass when entering recreation areas. Unauthorized use of facilities may subject person to trespassing notice from the Department of Public Safety.

Recreation membership does not include use of the Body Shop (577-4701), Mullins Rink/ Racquetball Courts (545-3990) or the
Residential Wellness Centers (577-9355).

Faculty, Staff, Graduate, Continuing Education Students

$40.00 per full semester ($30.00 half-semester price available starting Monday April 7, 2008)
Access to all recreation facilities during posted recreation hours, participation in competitive intramurals, assigned locker (as available), lock & towel package. Intersession is included with the spring semester. Faculty & staff may purchase two semester ($80.00) or three semester ($120.00) recreation membership at the beginning of the fall semester only.

$10/semester optional clothing
Use and daily laundering of T-shirt and shorts.

Locker/Towel Package
For students, faculty & staff, locker/towel service is available at the Boyden & Totman counters with UCard and receipt of membership. Patrons are permitted one assigned locker in either Boyden or Totman and must renew by session renewal date. With the locker assignment, patron is issued one towel/one set of clothing. The towel/clothing service operates on a strict exchange system, with a clean towel/clothing issued when these items are exchanged.

Locker/towel return/renewal date: Ugrads, grads, faculty, staff by August 20, 2008

Day use lockers are available in most locker rooms for patrons who want to bring their own lock to use on a temporary, day basis (no overnight storage). Personal locks left overnight are subject to removal and personal items will be discarded.

Associate Member

$30.00 per semester ($3.00 initial UCard fee payable at the UCard office)

Associate member age 18+ has access to all recreation facilities during posted recreation hours. To use pools, associate member must be at least age 6 (age 6-17 restricted to ‘Family Swim’ only). To use the basketball courts, associate member must be at least age 15. To use fitness centers, associate member must be at least age 18. Associate member under age 18 must be accompanied and supervised by a sponsor with recreation membership.

Guests

$5.00 per day
Guest must have a sponsor with UCard & current recreation membership or a ‘guest referral form’ from the Campus Center hotel. Guest passes are available at the Campus Recreation office and the Totman counter during open hours and from the building supervisor in the Boyden lobby on Friday nights & weekends.

Guest age 18+ has access to all recreation facilities during posted recreation hours. To use pools, guest must be at least age 6 (age 6-17 restricted to ‘Family Swim’ only). To use the basketball courts, guest must be at least age 15. To use fitness centers, guest must be at least age 18. Guest under age 18 must be accompanied and supervised by a sponsor with recreation membership.

Community Facility Passes

Adults: $60.00 (both sessions) / $30.00 (single session)
Children: $30.00 (both sessions) / $15.00 (single session)


Adults ages 18+ are permitted access to all recreation facilities for the purchased session(s) and must present a photo ID & facility pass to supervisor on duty. Lost or stolen facility passes can be replaced in the Campus Rec office during business hours. Facility passes are non-transferable. Community patrons may use own lock on a temporary, day basis. A lock and/or towel is available with a driver’s license left as security.

Community member age 18+ has access to all recreation facilities during posted recreation hours. To use pools, community member must be at least age 6 (age 6-17 restricted to ‘Family Swim’ only). To use the basketball courts, community member must be at least age 15. To use fitness centers, community member must be at least age 18.
