STATEMENT FROM ORLANDO TAYLOR,
CHAIR OF THE COMMISISON ON CAMPUS DIVERSITY

AMHERST, Mass.. – Orlando Taylor, chair of the Commission on Campus Diversity at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, released this statement today:

“Due to inclement weather and the closure of the university, today’s scheduled news conference to release the report of the Commission on Campus Diversity has been cancelled.

I know many members of the campus community are eager to read this report, and it is important to keep the process moving forward. Therefore, the commission has chosen to deliver the report to Chancellor John Lombardi today, while also publishing the full report and an executive summary.
