IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT EXCESS/REFUND CHECKS

If your refund is available, you will receive an email through your student OIT account. Please bring your student ID. To avoid waiting in lines, make sure you sign up for Excess Express. If you sign up for Excess Express your refund can be automatically deposited into any U.S. bank account of your choice. To enroll log online to SPIRE.

BURSAR EMAIL

You may experience difficulty getting through on the telephones due to the high volume of calls during this time of year. You can send us an email to bursar@admin.umass.edu and we will respond within 2 business days.

FERPA/QUIKPAY AUTHORIZATIONS

If you are a parent or guardian and you need to obtain billing information, please have your student designate you under the FERPA privacy waiver and also assign you as an authorized payer through QuikPAY. The student logs into SPIRE to authorize both QuikPAY and FERPA waivers. Please provide us with your FERPA access code when calling or emailing us.

ONLINE HEALTH INSURANCE WAIVER

Any student who needs to waive the student health insurance must complete the online waiver before October 24th, 2009.
