Residential Life Housing Fees

Students who live on campus are assessed room fees. The OIT residential services fee is charged to all students living in the residence halls.

UMass Dining Services Meal Plans

Undergraduate students living on campus, except for North and Lincoln Apartments, are required  to purchase a University meal plan.  Freshman and Sophomore students living on campus have the choice of the Value or Unlimited meal plan only. 

Entering students who are going to live on campus are billed for the Value Plan.

Undergraduate Juniors and Seniors living on campus have the added choice of the Gold or Platinum meal plans.

Graduate students, students living in the North and Lincoln Apartments, and students living off-campus may purchase any meal plan.

Changing Your Meal Plan

• Learn how to change your meal plan in SPIRE.

Use SPIRE to update your UMass Amherst meal plan. Changes are allowed until the end of add/drop for each semester.
