Facility
The Biomechanics Laboratory is located in Room 23A of the Totman Building on the UMass Amherst campus.
Equipment
The laboratory has the following equipment available:
- Eleven-camera Qualisys Oqus 3-Series optical motion capture system
- Eight-camera Qualisys ProReflex 240 optical motion capture system
- Instrumented (force-measuring) treadmill
- Instrumented (force- and position-measuring) bicycle pedal
- Five AMTI force platforms mounted along a 20-m runway
- Cybex NORM isokinetic dynamometer
- Nine-node Intel Xeon cluster for parallel computing
- Unisen StarTrac treadmill
- Sixteen-channel Delsys wireless EMG systems
- Uniaxial and triaxial accelerometers
- Exeter CompITS impact tester
For data analysis, modeling, and simulation, the following software is available:
