This event was held on the 9 th floor of the Campus Center and catered by Umass Catering Services. By nature, the event was more formal than the previous Creative Writing event. BDIC Faculty Supervisor and SOM Professor, Gino Sorcinelli acted as a Chair to this “panel” of graduates. After each alumni spoke about their experiences, questions came from the audience. The most memorable piece of information imparted to the students was the suggestion to send a Thank You note or card after an interview, to thank the interviewer for their time. Most students were unaware of this practice! Another mentionable fact was that the event served as a reunion for alumni, Kathleen and Dave, who hung out in the same dormitory and had mutual friends during their undergraduate careers! It was fun to see them get reacquainted.
