A Letter from our Vice President of Service
This semester my short term goal is to become more actively involved in the
community by helping out our fellow women. In the long term, I would like to
see this chapter live up to its mission statement, “encourages the advancement
of women in the band profession.” By becoming more involved this semester with
women in the community, through volunteering at local shelters, it will open up
the door for us to bring music into the picture for future semesters.
Remember that we joined this organization to serve bands and help advance women
in music. Test yourself. Go beyond what is required of you and take
responsibility for what you sign up for.
