Letter from our Treasurer
As the new Treasurer for Delta Delta, I have tried to find fundraisers that differ from those attempted in past years. So far this semester we have had a great amount of success with this mission, and I can only hope that those we attempt in the future will be equally successful. If we are able to achieve my goals, we will be able to branch out and develop our chapter in ways we have not yet imagined.
I have great pride in the accomplishments that we have made thus far, and I hope that we can continue our success and rise to new levels. In a monetary sense, I would like us to make enough money over the course of this semester and the summer to cover our losses and achieve a balance of $500 for the beginning of the fall semester. I am honored to hold this office and look forward to our future accomplishments.
Respectfully Submitted,
Jennifer Rose Iaconetti

Ongoing Fundraisers
Campus Fundraiser, an online survey event which has already proved to be very successful, is a project that I would like to see continued participation in. Even if a sister is not selected to participate (due to her demographic or other qualifications), she still earns money and points towards the fundraiser. Our representative has estimated that Delta Delta should be able to earn an average of $50 a month, just by taking surveys in our free time! If we can escalate our participation as a whole and have everyone on the same relative plane of participation, we will easily surpass our monthly goal of $56. I would also like to revive Empties for Cash and extend that campaign to other areas that we have not yet pursued, such as offices on campus.
My (extremely) short term goal, which is rapidly approaching, is to raise at least $200 at District Convention at Virginia Tech by selling merchandise. We will be selling reversible tote bags in a variety of colors with letters on them in addition to the pencils and pens that we have sold in the past.
Upcoming Fundraisers
Campus Fundraiser offers programs aside from the online surveys that we are currently participating in. I would like for us to try to participate in one of these, such as the magazine program, over the summer. Similarly, I would like the online survey portion of Campus Fundraiser to be a continuous program, much like Empties for Cash should be. For this semester, my goal is to have a large fundraising event marketed toward the marching band that will make a large sum of money (at least $200). Finally, I would like us to formulate a fundraiser for the fall that is a painless but very profitable event.
