Chapter History
The Delta Delta chapter of Tau Beta Sigma was chartered on May 16th, 1969 along with our brothers, the Epsilon Nu Chapter of KKpsi by John Jenkins. Since then, the sisters have put through a total of 71 membership classes and have done thousands of projects to support the bands program at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Currently, the sisters of Delta Delta serve the Marching Band, Concert Band, Symphony Band, Wind Ensemble, Chapel Jazz Ensemble, Jazz I Ensemble, Jazz Lab Ensemble, Orchestra, Hoop Band, and the music department. Joint Relations
The joint chapters of Tau Beta Sigma and Kappa Kappa Psi at the University of Massachusetts Amherst work together on a regular basis to accomplish many of our goals in serving the bands. We hold meetings with our brothers twice a month in conjunction with our seperate meetings and are established as a Registered Student Organization at our university.
