The Minuteman Marching Band will be raising funds for new uniforms on April 27-28th with the UMass Gives Campaign! If we get the most donations during our Power Hour from 3-4pm on April 28th, we get a $2000 bonus.

On Saturday, April 1st, we are kicking off the FIRST ANNUAL Big Band Bash. It’ll feature a UMMB-banquet-style format complete with cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing. There will also be a silent auction of amazing prizes to raise money for the band, and it’s open to all! Click here for more info!
Last weekend we marched the streets of Plymouth, MA and took part in America's Hometown Thanksgiving Parade! We had so much fun sharing our enthusiasm with the sizable crowd. #UMassParade
The UMMB is going to the 2018 Rose Parade! During the half time of our final home football game it was officially announced that the band will be traveling to Pasadena, CA. We are all extremely excited and honored to be invited to this historic festival of flowers.
Yesterday the UMMB performed at the annual MICCA Marching Band Festival. It was a rousing success with hundreds of high school students watching our performance. The UMMB thanks all of our band parents for the always amazing Burger Burn and we would like to thank the legendary founder of MICCA Paul Alberta for conducting My Way with the band.
The UMMB is currently wearing uniforms that debuted when most of our musicians had yet to reach kindergarten. We've done our best to preserve and repair them, but it's time to say goodbye. To help our Uniform Fund and learn more, visit Uniform MinuteFund.
Last Saturday the UMMB hosted UMass Band Day 2016 at Gillette Stadium. We had a record-breaking 3,200 students join us during half time to perform music from Grease! The students came from 67 bands across 7 states (MA, RI, CT, NJ, NY, VT, NH). We hope everyone had an electrifyin' time!
This past weekend the UMMB welcomed back our band alumni, first for the 42nd annual Multiband Pops Concert on Friday, and then for the 50th Alumni Band at Homecoming! Both were a great success and we loved seeing our alumni this weekend!
