The Cluster Fun
What's better than having the normal 20+ UMass tubas on the field together? Having 75 tubas!
Started in 2006 by a bunch of very smart tuba minds, the Cluster Fun has become a yearly tradition at the end of the Allentown Collegiate Marching Band festival where the tubas from as many schools as possible run on the field after the final band performs and do, well...TUBA things.
Whether it is playing Hey Baby, blasting the loudest tuba note Allentown, Pennsylvania has ever heard or having the longest tuba tail in the history of tuba tails, we do it all. Nothing is planned or scheduled, everything we end up doing is completely improvised. The Cluster Fun is always one of the highlights of our season.
The Cluster Fun has become such a prominent national event, it even has a Facebook group dedicated to it
