Intergenerational Graduate Student Conference on Diversity in East Asia |
A Three-Generational Approach to Synergy and Mentoring |
| FOOD and LODGING The expenses for transportation will be paid by the participants themselves or by their institutions. Our responsibilities shall be limited to providing space on the UMass Amherst campus for conference presentations and basic accommodations, such as water throughout the day. We will also arrange and provide lunch for presenters and discussants. For organizational reasons we recommend that the presenters arrive in Amherst one day prior to the conference. Although we may be able to offer a limited number of free lodging opportunities on a first-come first-serve basis, we expect the participants to make their own accommodations for the duration of the conference. Listed below are price guides and contact information for some of the more affordable places. The price given is per room and some of the places also mention how many persons a room can accommodate. There is, incidentally, a free "Pioneer Valley" bus system (PVTA) that connects many of these hotels and inns to the UMass Campus.
