Both exhibitions are scheduled to run from November 9th through December 9th 2011.

"Vessels Real and Imagined: Recent Work by Frank Ozereko"
Located in the East Gallery, this is a sabbatical show featuring the work of Prof. Frank Ozereko, a faculty member in the Dept. of Art, Architecture, and Art History at U.Mass. Amherst

Prof. Ozereko describes the exhibition thusly—'...the work explores the theme of the "vessel" through both prints and porcelain hand-built objects, thus demonstrating how two bodies of work that are each individually distinctive can influence and relate to each other..."

"Black on Black: Works by Aldo Tambellini"
Features a broad cross-section of paintings, drawings, films, and related sculpture by this Italian-born artist over a period of more than three decades, covering the essential course of his long-standing and obsessive engagement with Black, which for him is, simply, the source and destination of everything; it is spiritual and cosmic – and cosmogonic .
