The Studio Art Minor requires 18 credits:

3-6 credits in Art History 100 and 110 or Art History 115
6 credits in Studio Art Foundations, Art 104 and Art 105 or equivalent studio courses
9 credits in upper-level Studio courses (Art 200 or higher)

Restrictions:

Independent Study and Practicum courses are not counted towards the minor.

No requirements for the minor may be taken Pass/Fail.

At least four of the six courses should be taken at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

All courses used to satisfy the requirements must be completed with a grade of C or better.
