Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) in Design / Degree Requirements

Degree Requirements

Students in the B.F.A. in Design major in the Architecture+Design Program will be required to maintain a 3.0 overall GPA and a 3.3 GPA in studio classes to be able to continue to advance through the program. There will also be an annual portfolio review prior to spring registration (this requirement can be waived by Program).

All B.F.A. in Design majors must complete the full curricular requirements or receive written permission from the Program to either substitute or waive a required course.

B.F.A. in Design majors who have completed their degrees may apply to the Master of Architecture with advanced standing and complete their degree in a minimum of two years.
