The Spring 2016 Women in Design Lecture Series is generously supported by the Women for UMass Fund. The purpose of the Women for UMass Fund is to promote the advancement of campus programs that provide access, support, and opportunity for UMass Amherst students, with preference to those projects that will positively impact UMass Amherst women.

Prospective applicants for Fall 2016 entry to the Master of Architecture (MArch) and Master of Design (MDes) programs are invited to an open house on Friday, October 16th, 2015, beginning at 10 am.

Holyoke "Arrivals" Art Installation by Faculty Members

The city of Holyoke, Mass. recently unveiled "Arrivals," its newest public art installation. "Arrivals" was designed by Department of Architecture professors Joseph Krupczynski and Caryn Brause and features a 30-foot-long illuminated display about local history.
