The Ruin of the Eternal City: Antiquity and Preservation in Renaissance Rome
David Karmon is an associate professor of visual arts at Holy Cross. His research focus is on the history of buildings and landscapes, specializing in the history of architecture and urban design between 1400-1800. Karmon will speak on his new book, The Ruin of the Eternal City: Antiquity and Preservation in Renaissance Rome on Friday, November 8 at 12pm in the Fine Arts Center room 456 on the University of Massachusetts Amherst campus.
