Yestermorrow Design/Build Hiring Program Director

Yesternorrow Design/Build School is hiring a full-time Semester Program Director as lead faculty member and administrator of the school's semester programs, in coordination with UMass Amherst. Responsibilities include teaching, logistics mamgement, budgeting, student recruitment, curriculum development, and project coordination. The Director is responsible for teaching and facilitating the students' vision through the design and construction of a small scale structure.
 

Successful applicants will have a deep understanding and enthusiasm for how conceptual architectural design meets the pragmatics of construction. They will demonstrate design excellence as an educator and practicing professional and have fluency in topics of sustainability, community development, and affordability. Professional degree or equivalent in architecture or a related disipline, demonstrated teaching skill at the college level, and significant professional experience required.
