Advising

Each cohort of undergraduate students within the Architecture + Design Program is assigned one faculty member who advises them throughout their time in the program. Faculty maintain weekly office hours and are available to advise students on academic and professional matters. All graduate students are advised directly by the Graduate Program Director.

The Architecture + Design Program is situated within the College of Humanities and Fine Arts. In addition to the advising offered by the Architecture Faculty, CHFA offers students academic advising including information about majors, minors, and certificates, study abroad programs, and academic accommodation.

Undergraduate students considering graduate school should review the UMass A+D Planning for Graduate School resource.
