Minor in Architectural Studies /
Admissions

Please note:  The Minor in Architectural Studies has not yet been approved by the University, interested students can take courses from the minor requirements that will count towards the minor later.

In addition to their current major, students may sign up for an 18 credit Minor in Architectural Studies. It will be comprised of 6 credits each from designated courses related to architectural design, architectural technology and architectural history and theory. To be admitted into the Architectural Minor, a student must have a GPA of 3.0 or better.

When a student has successfully completed the requirements for the Minor (and upon approval of the Minor by the University), the student goes to the Registrar’s office in Whitmore and gets a “Declaration of Minor” form. The student then brings the form back to an A+D faculty member and the faculty member signs it and returns it to the Registrar’s office.

A list of available courses can be found here.
