> TAKE ME DIRECTLY TO THE CENTER FOR AGRICULTURE WEBSITE Several departments in the College of Natural Resources and the Environment have faculty and professionals who participate in the Center. These include Entomology, Food Science, Landscape Architecture & Regional Planning, Microbiology, Plant & Soil Sciences, Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Natural Resource Conservation, Resource Economics, and the Cranberry Experiment Station. Forty faculty, thirty professionals, and thirty technical/clerical staff are involved in Agriculture and Landscape. The program itself has space in part of one building, the West Experiment Station. Operating funds are obtained from Extension Agriculture and Landscape and the Experiment Station. It is the mission of the Center for Agriculture to enhance the economy and environment of Massachusetts by providing knowledge to agricultural and non-agricultural communities through research, education, and outreach, enabling development of ecologically and economically sustainable and socially responsible agricultural and horticultural management systems. The plan to support this mission is built around four areas.
