Welcome to the Experiment Station section of the CNS website. The Massachusetts Agricultural Experiment Station operates within Center for Agriculture in the College of Natural Sciences. The Experiment Station is a mandated research organization that administers and distributes Federal Experiment Station Funds. The Experiment Station also monitors all agricultural and natural resource research related activities in the College, and encourages new research initiatives. In addition, the office serves to promote research endeavors that will attract external funding sources.

The Experiment Station works closely with UMass Extension and most Experiment Station projects have an UMass Extension outreach component.
