Mullins Center Gets Busy

2 Sellouts, 4 Grammy Award winning acts, and hosting the NCAA Division I Men’s Ice Hockey tournament were just a few highlights for the Mullins Center this past season. New acts such as Maroon 5, Velvet Revolver, and Rascal Flatts all performed this past spring along with the return of Mullins Center Veterans Greenday and Stars on Ice. The Mullins Center Theater was also revived this past spring when 17 time Grammy award winner Alison Krauss performed with Union Station. Greenday was the first sellout at the Mullins Center in over a year, and three weeks later Tim McGraw sold out in less than one hour. McGraw will perform September 15th with special guests the Warren Brothers.
In addition to a busy spring with a number of shows and special events, Global Spectrum welcomed new Marketing Director Nate Finkel and Operations Manager Matthew Sullivan. The previous operations manager, Justin Wickens, was promoted to Director of Operations, and long time Event Supervisor Alex Rolfe was promoted to Event Manger.

Tim McGraw, which sold out in a little less than one hour, is the fastest show to sell out at the Mullins Center since Global Spectrum took over management. McGraw will perform September 15.
Next season is shaping up to be another busy one with a variety of shows already booked including the exciting Broadway in Amherst. The following shows have been announced:
