I’m a woodworking artist focusing on free-form furniture and figurative/abstract sculpture. My work is represented in several art galleries as well as in a corporate collection. I’ll be exhibiting at the Burnett Gallery this June.
INTERNSHIP DESCRIPTION: I am looking for a studio assistant to help with initial prep work for projects. This would include sanding, measuring, and cutting of wood; must be comfortable using woodworking machinery and equipment. No experience necessary but a willingness and desire to learn. I will teach you basic woodworking skills throughout your internship. As your skill set evolves you can expect more responsibilities such as assisting with joinery, planning large live-edge slabs, etc. I am also seeking someone who can help me prepare for my exhibit in June. This will include helping with set up, building display structures, as well as aiding in digital marketing materials and website design.
