Are you considering entering the exciting field of arts management? Are you already working in the arts management field and find that you need additional tools to manage your organization, board, finances, and fundraising?  Do you wonder if your programs are as effective as they could be?  Are you a visual artist, musician, actor, dancer, writer or other creative person looking to start your own nonprofit organization?

Need help on where to look next?  The Arts Extension Service allows you several options to gain the skills you need to advance your career or enhance your organization:

  • If you want to register for credit courses as part of your professional development or ongoing education credits, also open the UWW section and under Course Descriptions & Registration, follow those links.  You will work closely with the Arts Extension Service.
  • Already have your bachelor’s or master’s degrees but need new skills or new tools to address the needs of your organization or enhance your own marketability?  Join us for one of two Certificates in Arts Management that show your personal development and commitment to the field. You will register by visiting our site and will be taken to Continuing and Professional Education registration process.  You will work closely with the Arts Extension Service and will be supported online issues by our 24/7 online support team.

The Arts Extension Service faculty, each with over 20 years of hands-on work in the field of arts management, will help you gain the skills you need to succeed!  Our invigorating online format will enable you to appreciate small class size, get personal attention from well qualified instructors, and enjoy the flexibility to balance class time with family/work responsibilities.  Our discussion format allows you ample time to gain insight from peers across the nation and around the world, share your issues, and learn from a case study organization (often one in which you work or volunteer).  Weekly assignments allow you to build your final project and explore the course content so you can problem-solve and prepare to immediately implement what you learn, or offer a completed plan to your case study organization.
