Campus Recreation

There are plenty of ways to get a workout or get involved in sports if you’re not a varsity athlete.

Student teams are able to compete against other schools as part of the sports club program, and against each other as part of intramural competition. If you like something less organized, or you just want exercise, you can use the campus recreation centers. These centers are open to undergraduates with no extra fee during the school year, and provide great workout facilities. With these sites, other athletic buildings on campus, and outdoor facilities, students have access to:

  • eight indoor basketball courts and numerous outdoor courts
  • eight indoor volleyball courts
  • eight indoor badminton courts
  • handball/squash/racquetball courts
  • wrestling and martial arts room
  • three 25-yard swimming pools
  • fully equipped athletic injury care center
  • two fitness centers
  • two weight training rooms
  • fencing facilities
  • game room
  • crew tanks (for participants in the crew sports club)
  • indoor track
  • Olympic-size ice rink
  • lighted intramural fields
  • tennis courts
  • yoga facility
  • Warren McGuirk Alumni Stadium
