This is where the real fun begins. We can’t wait to meet you and welcome you to UMass Amherst. Now that you've been accepted, you probably have a lot of questions about classes, residence halls, the food, and weekend happenings. Important Deadlines


May 1: Acceptance Form and deposit due for first-year students

June 1: Acceptance Form and deposit due for transfer, Stockbridge, and postgraduate students

And if you haven’t taken care of these already…

Feb 15: File a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

March 1: Financial Aid Priority Deadline. We recommend that you complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) (see above) as soon as possible after Jan. 1, but before February 15 in order to meet the March 1 deadline
