Tuition - Intercept
Failure to make a payment to the University can result in default and intercept.
If a former student fails to pay their outstanding tuition balance whether they have signed a tuition agreement or not, the debt can be assigned to an outside collection agency and/or an attorney and additional fees and collection costs will be accessed.
Also, under MA General Law C.7A, C.62D and 815 CMR 9.00, any unpaid balances may be subject to late charges and processing fees, and intercept of State payments or Tax refunds.
