The ACCELA Alliance is committed to increasing the meaningful use of technology in classrooms, teacher education, and research. Two examples of current uses of technology in ACCELA Alliance include the development of a classroom blog in Wendy Seger's second grade classroom and the use of corpus linguistic tools to analyze changes in the academic literacy practices of Amy Rivera's fourth grade English Language Learners.
