Since its inception in 2002, the ACCELA Alliance has funded approximately 65 teachers in earning a Master of Education and a Massachusetts license in teaching English Language Learners and/or in Reading (see ACCELA People). These teachers are part of four cohorts, one in Holyoke and three in Springfield. These links provide a description of courses, sample syllabi, and examples of teachers’ work.
