PROFILE

Dr. Zacarian is a clinical faculty/lecturer at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. She has taught numerous courses and seminars on bilingual education, second language acquisition, and educational leadership and supervision. Her research interests focus on collaborative groupwork in teacher and administrator training programs and public school settings composed of linguistically and culturally diverse participants and on educational policy about English language learning and teaching. She is a central office administrator in the Amherst Pelham Public Schools.
