One of the ACCELA Alliance’s meaningful uses of technology in classrooms, teacher education, and research is through piloting the uses of corpus linguistics tools in the analysis of students’ texts. The goal is to provide teachers with tools for assessing their students’ current level of language development to assist them in making data-driven decisions about their lesson planning, delivery and assessment.
